Job Description – QA Engineer (Food Industry)

As a QA Expert, you will support the Quality Manager in maintaining and improving the quality assurance framework within the organization. You will play an important role in ensuring that quality standards are consistently applied and continuously improved across multiple production sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a key support to the Quality Manager in the field of Quality Assurance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and structural changes related to quality management.
- Promote standardization of quality systems across different sites and encourage the sharing of best practices.
- Lead and coordinate quality-related projects, from planning to implementation.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of quality systems.
- Assist in the preparation and follow-up of internal and external audits across various locations.
- Identify opportunities for process and quality improvements and initiate corrective actions where necessary.
- Participate in the management and continuous development of quality standards within the organization.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a clear overview of priorities.
Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Food Technology, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in a Quality Assurance role within the food industry.
- Knowledge of European food safety regulations and quality standards (e.g., HACCP, BRC, IFS or similar).
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- Excellent command of Dutch and English; knowledge of French is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proactive mindset with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to maintaining high quality standards.
