Overview
A leading organisation in the renewable recycling sector is seeking an experienced Group Quality Manager to support and enhance quality operations across multiple production sites. The role focuses on strengthening quality processes, aligning teams, and ensuring consistent standards across the organisation’s facilities.
This position is open to freelance or permanent professionals and is ideal for someone with strong supplier quality expertise and a broad, strategic (“helicopter view”) approach to quality management.
Contract Details
Long-term assignment (1–2 years), with potential extension
On-site presence required at headquarters and production plants
Limited remote work possible
Full-time: 8 hours/day, standard office start time
Working Model
Regular presence at central HQ
Frequent travel to several production sites within the same region
Engagement with both government and private-sector stakeholders
Industry & Operations
The company specialises in:
Processing and recycling biological materials
Producing bio-based fuels and products from processed fats and proteins
Supplying major clients in food and pet food sectors
Operating within highly regulated food and feed environments
Experience in Food & Feed industries is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and follow up on quality performance across all plants
Track and report quality KPIs
Strengthen and structure quality processes (leadership of the overall team not essential)
Facilitate connection and alignment between quality teams at different sites
Lead and participate in weekly operational and quality meetings
Provide quality oversight on production activities
Manage communication with external stakeholders (e.g., authorities, customers)
Support supplier quality activities
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the quality organisation
Quality Systems & Standards
Experience with Food & Feed regulations is required
IFS/BRC knowledge beneficial but not essential
Internal QMS experience preferred; ISO 9001 is an advantage
Skills & Competencies
Strong background in Supplier Quality
Ability to maintain a strategic, high-level overview of quality
Solid understanding of production environments
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Organised and structured approach to process improvement
Project management skills
Languages: Dutch (mandatory); French is an asset
