Your Role
As a Quality Engineer, you are responsible for managing all laboratory processes and ensuring quality risk management. You ensure compliance with IATF 16949, Customer-Specific Requirements (CSR), and all relevant standards. You work closely with cross-functional teams and report to the SBEG Lab Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily laboratory operations and ensure accurate and timely testing and product release.
Optimize laboratory workflows to maximize efficiency and reliability.
Implement priority quality actions and follow up on deviations.
Prepare for audits and perform Measurement System Analysis (MSA) studies.
Analyze defects using SPC and Pareto analysis, ensuring proper documentation and traceability.
Manage calibrations and projects such as automation and contingency planning.
Lead the laboratory team: training, work allocation, and performance management.
Use SAP for material flows, test requests, and quality data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address root causes and manage problem-solving using 8D methodology.
Achieve KPI-driven improvements and promote continuous improvement.
Your Profile
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent experience in an automotive-related quality environment.
Knowledge of IATF 16949, VDA 6, and Automotive Core Tools.
Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus.
Strong communication skills in Dutch and English.
Structured, stress-resistant, and able to manage priorities effectively.
