Role Overview:
We are seeking a Quality Engineer to support data centre projects across Europe, with a strong preference for candidates who bring automotive industry experience alongside mechanical and electrical engineering expertise. This role will play a key part in ensuring quality across customer, supplier, and project activities within complex, high-specification environments.
The position is intended as a long-term role, with a hybrid working model based in The Hague and regular collaboration across multiple European sites.
Key Responsibilities:
• Customer Quality, Project Quality, and Supplier Quality management
• Support quality assurance activities across data centre construction and engineering projects
• Apply automotive-quality methodologies to data centre environments
• Review, implement, and improve quality processes and standards
• Work closely with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers
• Interpret and contribute to electrical drawings and sketches
• Work with electrical systems, voltages, and technical specifications
• Support continuous improvement initiatives
• Travel across Europe approximately 1 day per month
Candidate Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Quality Engineer
• Background in the automotive industry and/or data centre sector
• Experience with OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers (e.g. Toyota, Volvo, or similar) is highly desirable
• Strong mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge
• Experience in customer, supplier, and project quality roles
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, voltages, and drawings
• Dutch language skills preferred
• Master’s degree in Engineering desirable but not essential
• Comfortable working in a hybrid and international project environment

Location: The Hague (3 days on-site / 2 days remote)
Duration: Long-term contract
