Your Scope
Are you passionate about quality, food safety and continuous improvement? Do you have an analytical mindset and enjoy being hands-on on the work floor? Then you might be the Quality Assurance Engineer we’re looking for!
Your Role
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you support the Quality Manager and work closely with the entire quality team and other departments. You will become one of the driving forces behind our quality policy, with the main objectives being: food safety, efficiency, clear communication and maximum customer satisfaction.
You will receive the necessary training and guidance to grow further within the role.
In addition, we are facing an extra challenge: the implementation of a new MES/WMS/ERP system. You will help shape this rollout from a quality perspective — a unique opportunity to truly make an impact.
What will you do?
Quality System:
Contribute to the management of the quality system (HACCP, procedures, work instructions, …)
Analyse, interpret and evaluate results
Actively initiate and follow up improvement actions
Audits:
Support external audits
Carry out internal audits and factory inspections
Training:
Provide internal quality training to colleagues
Additional quality responsibilities can be aligned with you based on your experience and interests.
Your Profile
You hold a master’s degree (bio-engineer, biochemistry, …).
Initial experience in quality management within the food industry is a must.
You have an excellent command of Dutch and English; you can express yourself well in spoken French.
You have good knowledge of Excel and can easily combine administrative work with presence on the work floor.
You work both independently and as part of a team, and you communicate clearly.
You have strong process insight, a critical-analytical mindset and work accurately.
Experience with ERP and/or MES systems is a strong plus.
