QC Inspector – Electronic (Contract)
Location: Belgium (Flanders region, onsite)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 3 months
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Working Hours: 08:00 start, 8-hour day
Role Context
A technology-focused manufacturing site is seeking an interim QC Inspector – Electronic to provide temporary quality inspection support during a staffing transition. The role requires someone who can integrate quickly into an established production environment and maintain quality oversight without supervision.
Role Overview
The QC Inspector will conduct hands-on inspections of electronic components and assemblies, with a strong emphasis on printed circuit board work. The role involves identifying defects, reporting non-conformities, supporting corrective actions, and ensuring all assemblies meet internal quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect electronic components, PCB assemblies, and related hardware against internal quality criteria.
Detect, document, and classify deviations, defects, and non-conformities.
Carry out rework or corrective tasks when permissible, or escalate issues appropriately.
Review soldering quality, component placement, and assembly workmanship.
Use standard inspection tools and follow established inspection procedures.
Contribute to quality documentation, reports, and audit preparation.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues efficiently.
Provide input on inspection processes and suggest improvements.
Required Experience & Skills
Proven experience as a QC Inspector, Electronic Inspector, or Quality Technician in an environment involving electronic assemblies.
Practical background with printed circuit board assembly (PCBA).
Ability to identify faults, interpret technical drawings, and carry out or support corrective actions.
Knowledge of common inspection/assembly standards (e.g., soldering standards, workmanship guidelines).
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently from day one.
