Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned QA Test Automation Lead to join a long-term project with a leading manufacturing client based in Ghent. This role is pivotal in defining and executing the test strategy, leading QA teams, and ensuring high standards of quality and automation practices across the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive test strategy tailored to the manufacturing domain.
Lead and mentor QA automation teams, fostering best practices and continuous improvement.
Ensure testing standards, documentation, and reporting are consistently upheld.
Collaborate closely with development, product, and business teams to align testing efforts with project goals.
Oversee the design and maintenance of automated test frameworks using Playwright and Selenium.
Drive test coverage, performance testing, and CI/CD integration.
Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure quality is embedded throughout.
Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience as a QA Automation Lead in complex enterprise environments.
Strong hands-on expertise with Playwright and Selenium.
Solid understanding of Java (beneficial but not mandatory).
Experience in defining and executing test strategies and leading QA teams.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently and proactively in a hybrid team setup.
