The Role

A Local Authority in the West Midlands is seeking an experienced Locum Property Solicitor to join their legal team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a property lawyer looking for flexible working within the public sector.

The role will focus primarily on commercial property matters, with a small amount of residential property work.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising the Council on a range of commercial property matters

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating leases, licences, and related documentation

• Supporting residential property matters as required

• Working collaboratively with internal departments and stakeholders

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with relevant UK local authority experience preferred

• Strong background in property law

• Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload

• Availability to start ASAP
