Property Officer – Mid Scotland – Housing Association – 3 Months 

Location: Mid Scotland (Remote / Home Working)
Contract: 3 Months
Hours: Full Time
Rate: £18 per hour

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Property Officer to support our housing services team on a 3-month fixed-term contract. This role will focus on the effective management of property-related services, ensuring high standards of repair, maintenance, and customer satisfaction across our housing stock in Mid Scotland.

The role can be carried out remotely from home, with occasional engagement as required to support service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage reactive and planned maintenance works, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery

  • Oversee void property management, coordinating inspections, repairs, and re-lets

  • Handle repair requests and contractor performance, ensuring works meet quality and compliance standards

  • Investigate and respond to tenant complaints, resolving issues efficiently and professionally

  • Liaise with contractors, internal teams, and tenants to ensure clear communication and service delivery

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with housing and health & safety regulations

About You

  • Proven experience in a Property Officer or similar role, ideally within a housing association or social housing environment

  • Strong knowledge of repairs, maintenance, and voids management

  • Experience handling complaints and customer-focused casework

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills

  • Able to work independently and manage workloads remotely

  • Confident using housing management systems and Microsoft Office
