Vivid Resourcing are currently partnered with a local authority in the South East who are looking to appoint an experienced Locum Commercial Property Lawyer to support their legal team on an interim basis.
This opportunity would suit a locum with strong local authority experience who is comfortable handling a transactional commercial property caseload in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Advising on a range of commercial property matters within a local authority setting
Managing acquisitions and disposals of land and buildings
Drafting and negotiating leases, licences, wayleaves and easements
Advising on landlord & tenant matters and property-related risks
Working closely with internal departments to progress transactions efficiently
Managing a caseload with minimal supervision
Requirements:
Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive in England & Wales
Proven experience in commercial property law, ideally within a local authority
Ability to work autonomously as a locum
Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement
Contract Details:
Competitive hourly rate (dependent on experience)
Remote working available
Initial 6 month contract with a strong likelihood of extension
Flexible start date
