About the Client:
A leading international contractor delivering high-specification data center infrastructure across Europe. The client is currently active on a data center project in Northern Switzerland and is seeking experienced planners to support the delivery team.
Role Overview:
This is a freelance opportunity for a Project Planner to join a fast-moving data center project. The scope is straightforward, and the role is hybrid, with monthly on-site presence required. Candidates must already be based in Switzerland.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and manage the integrated project schedule using Primavera P6 or MS Project
· Coordinate planning inputs from design, procurement, and construction teams
· Track progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
· Conduct critical path and float analysis
· Support risk register development and mitigation planning
· Prepare planning documentation for internal and client reporting
· Attend monthly on-site meetings and planning reviews
Candidate Requirements:
· Must be based in Switzerland with valid work eligibility
· Minimum 5 years’ experience in project planning for infrastructure or data center projects
· Strong proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and planning methodologies
· Fluent in English; German is a plus
· Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
Contract Details:
Location: Northern Switzerland (hybrid – 1 week/month on-site)
Duration: 12 months+ (strong pipeline for extension)
Rate: Negotiable, hourly
