Job Description

A client of mine in the North West is looking to fill a project management post in their Commissioning Team. This post would float across Public Health, Adult and Children’s Social Care.

We are looking at full-time, 6 months on a day rate via an umbrella company.

We are looking for someone with strong project management skills and someone who has worked within a local authority or the public sector before.

The role would cover a number of projects at any one time (up to 6) and heavily involve the following:

– Partnership working

– Change and transformation work

– Scoping and research of funding, spending and future projects

– Service redesign/service reviews

The start date is ASAP and interviews to be held next week. The post reports to the Head of Commissioning with oversight from the AD of Commissioning.
