Project Manager (Payment Solutions) – Freelance
A payment institution in Antwerp is looking for an IT Project Manager to join on a freelance basis.
They are running a project to implement a licensed Visa/Mastercard solution and prepare for an international rollout.
The programme involves coordinating internal teams and external vendors, gathering requirements from multiple countries, ensuring operational execution, and aligning with regulatory and business requirements.
They are therefore looking for an IT Project Manager who can work between business and IT, manage the project lifecycle, gather and validate requirements, and ensure successful implementation. The ideal candidate with have experience implementing a licensed visa/mastercard solution.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of a Mastercard/Visa payment solution
- Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to meet project milestones
- Gather, document, and validate business and operational requirements from multiple countries
- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with local and international payment regulations
- Monitor operational aspects of payments, including vouchers, mobility, healthcare, and other employee benefits
- Maintain project documentation and reporting
Requirements:
- 5+ years of IT project management experience in payment institutions
- Experience implementing Mastercard or Visa licensed solutions
- Knowledge of international payments, employee compensation, and benefits processes
- Dutch required; English for international coordination
