Role Overview

Act as the primary HVAC Project Manager responsible for the installation and delivery of HVAC systems, ventilation systems, and cleanroom environments across industrial and/or pharmaceutical projects in the Antwerp region.

Ensure full compliance with project specifications, applicable Belgian and European regulations, client standards, and industry best practices.

Take overall responsibility for planning, coordinating, executing, and closing out HVAC and cleanroom installation works within agreed timelines, budget, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full lifecycle of HVAC, ventilation, and cleanroom installation projects from planning through commissioning and handover.

Develop, review, and implement project execution plans, schedules, and resource strategies to ensure efficient project delivery.

Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, installation teams, and suppliers to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and to specification.

Oversee the installation of air handling units (AHUs), ductwork, ventilation systems, chilled and heating systems, and cleanroom infrastructure including filtration and pressure control systems.

Ensure compliance with relevant standards and guidelines (e.g. GMP environments where applicable, cleanroom classifications, and HVAC performance requirements).

Monitor project progress, manage budgets and cost control, and provide regular reporting to senior management and client representatives.

Lead technical coordination meetings with clients, consultants, engineering teams, and site management.

Manage risk assessments and proactively resolve technical or logistical challenges that arise during installation.

Oversee testing, commissioning, validation, and final project handover documentation.

Ensure all documentation, drawings, change orders, and technical submittals are properly controlled and updated throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Proven experience as an HVAC Project Manager on industrial, pharmaceutical, or cleanroom-related projects.

Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, ventilation installations, air handling systems, and cleanroom environments.

Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary installation teams.

Solid understanding of Belgian and European building regulations and relevant HVAC standards.

Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, procurement, and client relationships.

Experience with commissioning and validation processes in regulated environments is highly advantageous.

Fluent in Dutch and English (both spoken and written).

Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills in technically demanding environments.
