Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Electromechanical Project Engineer to join our client’s dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will manage and execute multidisciplinary projects, from concept through commissioning, ensuring technical excellence, on-time delivery, and seamless integration with electrical and mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical development of electromechanical solutions for renewable-energy installations.
- Coordinate project phases including design, planning, procurement, testing, and implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, electrical engineering, operations, suppliers).
- Prepare technical documentation, project schedules, risk assessments, and progress reports.
- Monitor project performance and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization of installed systems.
- Act as the technical point of contact for clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering or related field.
- 2–5+ years of experience in electromechanical or multidisciplinary engineering projects (renewable energy experience is a strong plus).
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems integration.
- Hands-on knowledge of CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and project-management methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, structured work approach.
- Fluent in English; Dutch or French is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage external partners.
