🔧 The Role
We are supporting a leading datacenter developer in Frankfurt who is searching for an experienced Datacenter Project Director to oversee a major project through its next delivery phase. This is a senior, client-facing position requiring a strong understanding of contracts, commercial control, and project governance across large-scale technical construction environments.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
- Lead overall project execution for a hyperscale datacenter development in Frankfurt.
- Manage commercial strategy, contract execution, change management, and claims prevention.
- Oversee cross‑functional teams, design partners, and contractors to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
- Drive quality, safety, and project controls across all stages of construction.
- Act as senior point of contact for stakeholders, providing governance, reporting, and risk leadership.
📌 Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Director on major datacenter, mission‑critical, or large technical infrastructure projects.
- Strong contract management and commercial acumen (EPC, GC, Design & Build, framework contracts).
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a high‑pressure delivery environment.
- Previous experience in Germany or within EU construction environments is highly advantageous.
- Available to start mid‑February on a freelance basis.
