We’re currently partnering with an innovative technology company in the Kortrijk region seeking a Product Development Engineer to strengthen its growing R&D team.
🔍 About the Role
As a Product Development Engineer, you’ll play a key role in the end-to-end product development process — from concept generation and design through to prototyping, validation, and industrialization. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop high-quality, reliable, and market-ready products.
Your main responsibilities:
Translate customer and functional requirements into technical specifications.
Develop and optimize 3D designs and engineering documentation.
Collaborate on prototyping, testing, and validation of new designs.
Support design-for-manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
🎓 Profile
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Electromechanics, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in product development or mechanical design.
Skilled in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, or Siemens NX).
Knowledge of materials, manufacturing techniques, and design validation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
Fluent in English; Dutch and/or French are an advantage.
