Role Overview
We are looking for a Process Expert for a client in the Food and Beverage industry based in the Brussels area.
The process expert is part of the Process Technology team of the site. He/she reports into the Process Technology Manager who is part of the local management team.
The process expert is the site Lead in new NPI (New Product), PTF (Product Transfers), and Innovative Projects with direct communication to CI&TS. Leads First Time Makes (Factory-Trials). By studying, analysing and optimizing the line performance and implementing the solution, the process expert increases throughput and reduces waste.
To do so he/she collaborates with and supports the operational teams. He/she develops and implements work instructions for new product processes and creations. By doing so, he/she has an important impact on the different KPI’s of the operational departments related with efficiency, safety, quality, losses and environmental impact.
Key Responsibilities:
● Site Lead in new NPI (New Product), PTF (Product Transfers), and Innovative Projects with direct communication to CI&TS and primary approver within Salesforce. Leads First Time Makes (F-Trials)
● Build the recipes into SCADA (BC Batch), Setup standards in SAP, Update SFP as needed, update documentation and procedures (including POKA)
● Product Committee and Product Meeting: Work with CI&TS on new product development , feasibility process, capability, requirements, costing, adherence to quality programs and regulations, & initial recipe build.
● Facilitate workstream meetings across multi-departments to review and implement new developments and processes
● Captures all process mappings of all trials and potential innovations, feedback from CI&TS and the Process Engineers
● Complete consumption & quality analytical reviews for all products and drives alignment with R&D if gaps are identified
● Develop and implement Work Instructions for all new Product Processes & Pack-BOM creations
Requirements and Logistics:
- Start date: ASAP
- Contract Length: 6 months
- Rate: DoE
- Fluent in English with a strong Proficiency in both Dutch and French (No less then B2)
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
- Experience with common office softwares and SAP such as MES, Siemens S7 and Poka (is a bonus)
- Site is in the Brussels area so if you must be within a commutable distance, able to relocate for the contract or live locally
