Job Description

My Local Authority Client based in South West England is looking for 4x Principal Lead Highways Engineers to join their team on an initial 6 month contract, with the likelihood of an extension. You will be required to be in the office/on site 2 days per week. Experience and knowledge of CAD is absolutely essential. Preferably the successful candidate will also have public sector experience, as well as a relevant degree alongside qualifications – i.e ICE, CENG.

Main Responsibilities:

* Delivering team priorities on time and within budget
* Annual Highway Capital improvement Programme
* Continuously improving team standards and working practices
* Working with transport teams to develop briefs and specifications for Highway schemes to maximise outcomes
* Contract management of programme delivery
* Environmental carbon reduction in scheme delivery and outcomes
