As Plant Manager, you will lead the daily operations of a high-performing biomethanization facility and play a key role in ensuring operational excellence, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and overall performance of the biomethanization plant.
- Lead and coach a team of 5 direct reports, setting clear priorities and ensuring alignment across departments.
- Drive and maintain strong safety, environmental, and quality standards across the site.
- Manage and monitor the operational budget while optimizing plant performance.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements.
- Analyze operational challenges and develop data-driven solutions, including cost and performance analyses.
- Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reliability, and sustainability.
- Coordinate and follow up on operational and improvement projects within the plant.
What We’re Looking For
- Master’s degree in Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a production or industrial environment.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
- Ability to inspire others and promote ownership and accountability.
- Analytical mindset with strong interest in data, performance metrics, and operational optimization.
- Hands-on, proactive, and highly organized.
- Strong sense of responsibility and ability to perform under pressure.
- Experience in operational leadership roles is required.
- Strong focus on safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
- Knowledge of LEAN management or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
