Locum Planning Lawyer

Vivid Resourcing are working with a local authority to appoint an experienced Locum Planning Lawyer on an initial 3-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension (existing locums have been in post for several years).
This is a stable, long-term opportunity within a well-established legal team, offering fully remote working and no committee attendance.
Key Responsibilities
Provide legal advice on a broad range of planning matters
Advise on planning applications, appeals, enforcement, and related matters
Draft and negotiate s106 and other planning-related agreements
Support planning officers with clear, pragmatic legal advice
Manage a consistent and manageable caseload with minimal supervision
Essential Experience
Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Legal Executive
Proven local authority planning law experience
Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting
Strong written communication and advisory skills
