Town Planner / Senior Town Planner
Location: Loughborough (Hybrid Working Available)
Salary: £35,000–£55,000 DOE + Excellent Benefits

Our client is seeking an ambitious planner to join their growing Loughborough office. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a varied portfolio of residential, commercial, mixed-use and strategic land projects, supporting clients through every stage of the planning process.
The Role
As part of a collaborative and experienced planning team, you will:
- Prepare and manage planning applications, appeals and site promotion strategies.
- Provide planning advice to a diverse range of private sector clients.
- Liaise with local planning authorities, consultees and stakeholders.
- Prepare planning statements, appraisal reports and supporting documentation.
- Attend client meetings, public consultations and planning committee meetings where required.
- Manage projects from inception through to determination.
- Support junior members of the team (Senior Town Planner level).
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- A degree (and ideally a postgraduate qualification) in Town Planning or a related discipline.
- MRTPI status or be working towards Chartership.
- Experience within a private planning consultancy or a local authority planning team.
- Strong knowledge of the UK planning system.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Commercial awareness and strong client-facing skills.
- A full UK driving licence is desirable.
