Are you an ambitious Town Planner looking to work on some of London’s most exciting and high-profile development projects? Our client, a respected and fast-growing planning consultancy based in central London, is seeking a proactive and commercially minded Town Planner to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a dynamic and collaborative environment where your ideas and initiative will be valued from day one.

About the Role:

As part of the consultancy’s planning team, you’ll manage a wide range of projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments for a diverse client base, including developers, landowners, investors, and local authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit high-quality planning applications, appeals, and representations

  • Provide planning advice to clients on development potential and policy strategy

  • Undertake site appraisals and prepare planning statements and design & access statements

  • Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and local planning authorities

  • Monitor emerging policy and assist in shaping responses and strategy accordingly

  • Attend and speak at planning committees and public consultation events as required

What We’re Looking For:

  • RTPI-accredited degree and working towards or holding MRTPI status

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a consultancy, developer, or local authority planning role

  • Sound knowledge of the UK planning system, particularly within Greater London

  • Strong project management and communication skills

  • A commercial mindset and client-focused approach
