Our client is a leading yacht building company operating in North Brabant, Netherlands specialising in the construction of high-quality custom superyachts. The organisation is known for demanding quality standards, precision engineering, and complex onboard systems.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Pipefitter to support a 6-month new build programme within a luxury yacht building environment. The role involves the installation and assembly of onboard piping systems, primarily within technical and engine room areas, working to strict quality and finish standards.
You will collaborate closely with welders, supervisors, and other trades to deliver complex piping systems in line with drawings, specifications, and build schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and assemble stainless steel and steel piping systems on superyacht new builds.
- Fit pipe spools, flanges, valves, and supports in accordance with isometric and technical drawings.
- Carry out accurate measuring, alignment, and adjustment of piping systems.
- Work in confined technical spaces such as engine rooms.
- Support pressure testing, inspections, and quality control checks as required.
- Coordinate effectively with welders and supervisors to ensure smooth execution.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, cleanliness, and safety.
- Deliver work in line with strict project timelines.
Candidate Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a pipefitter within yacht building or maritime environments.
- Proven experience on superyacht new builds or refits.
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical and isometric drawings.
- Experience working with stainless steel piping systems.
- Able to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary yard team.
- Familiar with the quality standards expected in luxury yacht construction.
- Eligible to work in the Netherlands.
