Palantir Lead
About the Role
A growing technology organization is looking for a Supply Chain Palantir Lead to lead the design, implementation and ongoing development of Palantir Foundry solutions supporting complex supply chain operations.
This person will act as the senior technical and functional authority across Palantir Foundry and supply chain transformation, working closely with engineering teams, supply chain leadership and business stakeholders to turn complex operational requirements into scalable data products.
The ideal candidate combines strong Palantir Foundry expertise with deep knowledge of supply chain, planning, logistics and operational data. This is a senior role suited to someone who has progressed from hands-on Foundry or data engineering into technical or functional leadership.
Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of Palantir Foundry solutions supporting supply chain operations.
Own the technical and functional direction of supply chain data products and applications.
Translate complex supply chain requirements into scalable Foundry Ontology, data pipelines and applications.
Provide technical leadership across Ontology modelling, Pipeline Builder, Workshop, Contour, Code Repositories and AIP.
Work with supply chain leaders to identify opportunities for improved visibility, planning, forecasting and operational decision-making.
Design data products supporting areas such as demand planning, inventory, procurement, logistics, manufacturing and supplier management.
Integrate data from ERP, WMS, TMS, MES and other enterprise systems into Foundry.
Establish scalable data architectures, production pipelines and data quality standards.
Lead development of supply chain workflows, applications and decision-support tools within Foundry.
Partner with data engineers, software engineers, solution architects and business stakeholders throughout implementation.
Provide technical oversight and mentorship to Foundry engineers and developers.
Establish best practices around Git, CI/CD, testing, documentation and production support.
Identify opportunities to leverage Palantir AIP and AI-enabled workflows across supply chain processes.
Act as the senior escalation point for complex Foundry, data and supply chain transformation challenges.
Communicate technical concepts and transformation opportunities effectively to executive and operational stakeholders.
Required Experience
Significant professional experience with Palantir Foundry, including hands-on implementation experience.
Strong understanding of Foundry Ontology, Pipeline Builder and Foundry application development.
Significant experience working within supply chain, logistics, manufacturing or operations environments.
Strong understanding of supply chain processes including areas such as demand planning, inventory, procurement, production, transportation and supplier management.
Experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale data products or digital transformation initiatives.
Strong technical foundation in Python, SQL and Spark/PySpark.
Experience integrating data from enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle, ERP, WMS, TMS or MES platforms.
Experience working with APIs and modern data architectures.
Strong understanding of software engineering practices including Git, CI/CD, testing and production data pipelines.
Ability to work across both technical and business teams and translate operational requirements into technical solutions.
