Overview
We’re looking for a Frontend Engineer with strong TypeScript and React experience, ideally with exposure to Palantir Foundry, to build production-grade, data-driven applications.
This role sits at the intersection of frontend engineering, data platforms, and workflow-driven applications, where you’ll design and deliver entity-centric UIs powered by Foundry Ontology models.
You’ll be working closely with data engineers, backend teams, and business stakeholders to create intuitive, high-performance applications that directly support operational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable frontend applications using React and TypeScript
- Develop dynamic, data-driven UIs integrated with Palantir Foundry
- Design and implement entity-centric user interfaces backed by Foundry Ontology objects
- Create reusable, maintainable component architectures and UI patterns
- Develop TypeScript-driven UI actions and logic layers for application workflows
- Translate complex business requirements into intuitive frontend experiences
- Implement state-driven UI patterns and manage complex application state effectively
- Contribute to event-driven architectures and interactive workflow-based systems
- Collaborate cross-functionally with data engineers, backend developers, and product teams
- Ensure applications are production-grade, performant, and scalable
Required Skills & Experience
- 4–8 years of experience in software / frontend development
- Strong experience with React (Hooks, state management, component patterns)
- Advanced proficiency in TypeScript
- Experience building production-grade frontend applications
- Hands-on experience working with data-driven or workflow-based applications
- Solid understanding of:
- Event-driven systems
- State-driven UI architecture
- Workflow-based application design
- Experience integrating frontend applications with APIs and backend services
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry
- Experience working with:
- Ontology-driven data models
- Entity-centric application design
- Exposure to Foundry tools such as Workshop, Slate, or Quiver
- Experience in enterprise-scale or data-heavy environments
- Familiarity with Spark / PySpark / data pipelines (a plus)
