Palantir Data Engineer
Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid preferred)

Overview
We are hiring a Palantir Data Engineer to join a growing data and analytics team supporting enterprise-scale data initiatives. This role will focus on building and maintaining data pipelines within Palantir Foundry, enabling scalable data workflows and supporting business intelligence and operational analytics.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with early-to-mid level Palantir experience who wants to work on large-scale data transformation projects within a fast-moving enterprise environment.
We strongly prefer local candidates in the Jersey City / NYC area, however relocation candidates will be considered if they have strong Palantir experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines within Palantir Foundry
- Build scalable ETL / ELT pipelines using PySpark
- Work with structured and unstructured data to enable advanced analytics and operational workflows
- Develop data models, transformations, and datasets within Foundry
- Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and platform engineers to deliver end-to-end data solutions
- Develop and maintain code using Python, PySpark, and SQL
- Work with Typescript or JavaScript when building Foundry applications and workflows
- Ensure data quality, lineage, and governance standards are maintained
- Participate in troubleshooting and optimizing data pipelines and platform performance
- Support integration of enterprise systems and third-party data sources
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of hands-on experience working with Palantir Foundry
- Strong Data Engineering experience
- Hands-on experience with PySpark
- Strong knowledge of Python and SQL
- Experience building data pipelines and data transformations
- Experience working with large-scale data platforms and distributed processing
- Strong understanding of data modeling and ETL workflows
- Good communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with at least two of the following:
- Palantir Foundry
- Typescript/JavaScript
- Insurance or Financial Services domain experience
Additional experience that would be beneficial:
- Databricks or Spark environments
- Data governance and data quality frameworks
- API integrations and microservices
- Cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP)
Location & Work Setup
- Jersey City, NJ (Preferred Local Candidates)
- Hybrid or onsite collaboration may be required
- Relocation candidates may be considered if they have strong Palantir experience
