🚀 About the Role
We are looking for a Palantir Technical Architect / Senior SME Developer who can go beyond implementation — someone who can drive technical vision, challenge assumptions, and turn complex ideas into real, scalable solutions.
This is not a “follow-the-requirements” developer role.
We need someone who can:
Lead architecture discussions
Think creatively about data problems
Translate ambiguity into structured design
Build production-ready solutions in Foundry
Elevate the technical maturity of the team
You’ll join a growing team of 10 engineers and analysts working on high-impact data initiatives. This is a remote-first engagement with strong visibility and ownership.
🎯 What You’ll Do
Architecture & Technical Leadership
Design scalable data architectures within Palantir Foundry
Lead ontology design and data modeling strategy
Translate business ideas into technical execution plans
Drive architectural decisions around pipelines, actions, and AIP workflows
Guide team best practices for code repositories and modular design
Advanced Development
Build complex ETL/ELT pipelines using Foundry Pipelines & Code Repositories
Develop PySpark transformations and performance-optimized datasets
Implement ontology-backed actions and Workshop applications
Leverage AIP, LLM integrations, OCR, embeddings, and AI-driven workflows
Create function-backed actions using TypeScript when required
Innovation & Problem Solving
Challenge conventional approaches and propose smarter alternatives
Turn “what if” ideas into working prototypes
Drive proof-of-concepts into production-grade systems
Improve automation, performance, and scalability across the platform
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with stakeholders to clarify ambiguous requirements
Drive whiteboard sessions and technical workshops
Mentor junior developers and elevate team standards
Own technical decision-making within a team of 10
