🔎 About the Role
We are looking for a medior OT/IT Engineer who thrives in a hands-on, operational environment combining IT systems, OT infrastructure, ERP management, and cybersecurity governance.
This is a broad and dynamic role where you will support daily IT/OT operations, ensure compliance with NIS2 requirements, manage business applications, and contribute to infrastructure and offshore operational continuity.
The first 6 months require full onsite presence (5 days/week) to ensure strong onboarding and operational integration.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
🔐 Cybersecurity & Compliance
Supporting and managing NIS2 compliance and ISMS framework
Keeping mail security, backups, cybersecurity controls, firmware, antivirus systems up to date
Monitoring and improving IT/OT security posture
Proactively identifying security improvements and risks
🖥 IT & Application Management
Daily management of ERP systems (Offshare, Api Pro, etc.)
User management
Basic configurations
Reporting
System optimizations and integrations
Application management across business systems
Managing and maintaining SharePoint sites and libraries
Supporting and maintaining the BI system (QLIK)
Proactively suggesting improvements based on business needs
🌐 OT & Network Management
First-line support for OT networks, with escalation to 2nd/3rd line (eBO) when required
Diagnosing issues and following up on external support tickets
Managing OT environment including:
Networks & VLANs
Data connections
SCADA and database applications
5G network (including 5G boxes)
Managing communication with turbine systems:
Main controllers
UPS systems
Pitch systems
Converters
Lightning protection systems
🌍 Offshore & Infrastructure Support
Occasional offshore support for OT-related activities
Performing basic checks and simple configurations on network components (WiFi, switches)
IP range management and assigning new IP addresses
General network support and troubleshooting
🧠 Profile
Medior-level experience in IT and/or OT engineering
Strong hands-on mindset (D2D operational support)
Experience with ERP systems and application management
Understanding of networking fundamentals (VLANs, IP management, WiFi, switches)
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
Exposure to NIS2 and/or ISMS is a strong advantage
Comfortable working onsite full-time during initial period
Fluent in English; Dutch is a strong plus
