Location: Flanders Region, Belgium (up to 50% remote work per week)

Our client is an exciting and growing consultancy who are specialised in Engineering and OT Security services with clients across Brussels and Flanders, focussed on the FMCG industry.
Role Overview:
We are urgently seeking a freelance ICS/OT Security Engineer to support numerous clients in designing, optimising, implementing and maintaining security controls for OT/ICS environments of clients in the FMCG industry across the Flanders and Brussels regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse customer security environments, design improved solutions to match their needs and implement your own security solutions for their OT/ICS environments.
- Maintain security controls in client’s OT/ICS environments.
- Conduct risk analysis and security assessments for OT networks and systems.
- Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies within industrial operations.
- Monitor and detect security incidents within client’s OT environments, responding to security incidents accordingly.
- You will get to work with a wide-range of OT technologies across PLC’s, Scada etc.. and collaborate with engineering, IT and operations team to ensure security best practices are integrated to make a compliant and secure OT environment.
- Participate in architecture reviews and design secure network segmentation for OT environments.
- Lead vulnerability management within the OT infrastructure of clients.
- On top of supporting incident response, you will also conduct forensic analysis/root-cause analysis when required and aim to put preventative measures in place to stop the incident occurring in the future.
- Conduct security awareness training for all personnel involved in the OT/ICS environment.
- Operate in a continuous improvement mindset, staying up to date with the latest trends, evolving threats, vulnerabilities and new technological developments specific to industrial environments.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience with OT/ICS industrial networks.
- Experience from the security side with PLC, Scada etc…
- Experience with industrial firewalls.
- English speaking.

Rate type: Daily Rate.
