About the Role
We are currently looking for an experienced Oracle Expert / Solution Designer to join our client, a leading financial services organization based in Brussels.
This role is focused on both deep Oracle expertise and strong solution design capabilities. You will not only manage and optimize Oracle environments but also actively design scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions within a complex enterprise landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end Oracle solutions, from concept to implementation
- Translate business needs into technical architectures and data models
- Define solution blueprints, integration patterns, and system interactions
- Optimize database performance, scalability, and reliability
- Act as a technical reference for Oracle-related topics
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation initiatives
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong expertise in Oracle Database (administration, architecture, performance tuning)
- Proven experience in solution design / solution architecture
- Ability to design scalable, robust, and secure enterprise solutions
- Strong knowledge of data modeling and system integration
- Solid experience with SQL and PL/SQL
- Experience in complex and regulated environments (financial sector is a plus)
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to think beyond standard configurations
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder interaction
Nice to Have
- Experience with Oracle Cloud (OCI)
- Knowledge of DevOps and automation practices
- Familiarity with Linux environments
- Experience with middleware and integration platforms
- Relevant certifications (Oracle, Architecture, Cloud)
