Role Overview
We are seeking an OPEX Program Manager to manage a top-level portfolio and support the creation of a Technical Services Organization. The role sits at program level and focuses on optimizing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) by addressing both CAPEX and OPEX dimensions.
The Program Manager will oversee multiple initiatives within the program, including two key projects related to TCO auditing, and will provide ongoing support to operational projects, particularly in the area of soft costing and operational expense optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and steer a strategic OPEX-focused program and portfolio
- Contribute to the design and implementation of a Technical Services Organization
- Lead and coordinate two TCO auditor-related projects
- Support day-to-day projects with soft costing analysis, ensuring a balanced view between CAPEX and OPEX
- Ensure business cases are built on total cost of ownership, not CAPEX only
- Translate financial and OPEX concepts into clear, industrial language for operational teams
- Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, finance, and technical stakeholders
- Track program performance, risks, dependencies, and benefits realization
- Report progress and insights to senior stakeholders and steering committees
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Program Manager or Senior Project Manager in industrial or technical environments
- Strong understanding of OPEX structures, cost drivers, and optimization levers
- Solid knowledge of TCO methodologies and lifecycle costing
- Ability to support and challenge business cases from an OPEX perspective
- Experience working with technical services, maintenance, or industrial operations
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to “speak the industrial language” and bridge finance and operations
- Structured, analytical, and pragmatic mindset
