For a company active in the insurance sector, We are looking for an experienced OpenVMS Developer/Analyst to support and maintain legacy systems within the insurance sector, while contributing to the migration towards a modern web-based ecosystem. Start date: ASAP.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and support legacy applications within an OpenVMS environment
- Analyze existing processes and systems and proactively suggest improvements
- Investigate and resolve issues and incidents reported by the business
- Define and implement solutions, including:
- Data adjustments
- Temporary workarounds
- Provide active support in the migration to a new system
- Work with existing data dumps and adapt them where necessary
- Develop scripts or solutions for one-off data processing tasks
- Act as a link between the current system and the new platform
Profile
- Knowledge of COBOL is required
- Knowledge of BASIC and GemBase is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on and detail-oriented mindset
- Experience in the insurance sector is a plus
Languages
- Good command of English and French (both required)

- Location: Diegem
- Work setup: 2 days per week on-site (Friday mandatory)
- Start date: ASAP
