The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Odoo ERP Specialist to join an established industrial manufacturing organisation based in Herentals, Belgium.
This is a key role supporting the company’s digital transformation journey, with responsibility for the full migration of their ERP system to Odoo, followed by the continued development, optimisation and implementation of new functionalities across the business.
Working closely with teams across manufacturing, logistics and operations, you will play an important role in improving business processes, increasing efficiency and ensuring the ERP system continues to support the company’s growth.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys combining technical ERP expertise with business understanding, and who wants to take ownership of Odoo within a hands-on manufacturing environment.
The role will initially require 5 days per week onsite in Herentals to support the implementation and integration process. Following successful onboarding, there is the opportunity to move towards a hybrid working model of 3–4 days onsite per week.
Fluent Dutch language skills are essential for this position.
The Role
As an Odoo ERP Specialist, you will take ownership of the company’s Odoo migration and future development roadmap.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supporting the migration of the existing ERP system to Odoo.
- Analysing current business processes and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Configuring, developing and optimising Odoo functionalities across different departments.
- Designing and implementing new features, workflows and system improvements.
- Working closely with manufacturing, logistics and operational teams to understand business requirements.
- Translating business needs into practical ERP solutions.
- Supporting users with Odoo-related questions, improvements and troubleshooting.
- Providing guidance and training to internal teams where required.
- Monitoring system performance and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Supporting integrations and future Odoo developments.
- Becoming a key point of contact for Odoo within the organisation.
- Supporting logistics processes and operational activities as part of the wider team.
We are looking for a technically capable and communicative Odoo specialist who understands how ERP systems can support and improve manufacturing operations.
You will ideally have:
- Proven experience working with Odoo ERP.
- Experience with ERP implementations, migrations or major system improvements.
- Strong understanding of Odoo configuration, modules and functionality.
- Experience working within manufacturing, production, logistics or supply chain environments.
- Ability to understand operational challenges and translate them into effective ERP solutions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership of projects.
- An interest in business processes, production workflows and continuous improvement.
- Fluent Dutch language skills are mandatory.
Experience with manufacturing ERP processes, inventory, planning or logistics modules would be highly advantageous.
