Job Description – Senior NIS2 Implementor
About the Role
For an organisation active in the media sector, we are looking for a Senior NIS2 Implementor to lead and support the implementation of the NIS2 Directive across the organisation.
Due to regulatory pressure and increasing cybersecurity maturity requirements, this role focuses on translating NIS2 obligations into practical, executable security measures. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, security teams and business leaders to ensure compliance while strengthening the overall security posture.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute NIS2 implementation programs
Translate regulatory NIS2 requirements into concrete controls, processes and actions
Perform gap analyses and define security roadmaps
Coordinate and manage security programs and initiatives
Act as a senior security advisor to management and key stakeholders
Align legal, technical and organisational security requirements
Monitor progress, risks and compliance throughout the program lifecycle
Required Skills & Experience
Senior cybersecurity professional with 7+ years of experience
Proven experience with NIS2 implementation and regulatory security frameworks
Strong program management capabilities
Experience working within the media sector (required)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to operate independently in complex organisational environments
Bonus Skills
Hands-on CISO or interim CISO experience
Experience working with executive leadership or boards
Background in regulated or high-availability environments
Languages
English: mandatory
French or Dutch: strong plus
Work Model & Location
2 days per week onsite
Location: Brussels office
