🔎 About the Role
For a client in the Antwerp region, we are looking for a Network Infrastructure Specialist with experience across both IT and OT environments.
You will play a key role in maintaining, securing and optimizing network infrastructures that support both corporate IT systems and industrial/operational technology environments. This position requires strong technical expertise and the ability to work closely with on-site operational teams.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
Managing and configuring firewalls, routers and switches
Supporting and implementing network integrations across IT and OT environments
Ensuring network availability, performance and security
Troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues (L2/L3 level)
Supporting segmentation and secure architecture between IT and OT
Contributing to infrastructure improvement and optimization projects
Collaborating with security and operations teams on-site
🧠 Profile
Must-have:
✔ Proven experience in network infrastructure (enterprise level)
✔ Strong hands-on experience with firewalls, routers and switches
✔ Experience working in both IT and OT environments
✔ Knowledge of network segmentation and secure design principles
✔ Dutch & English speaking
✔ Able to work 3 days per week onsite in Antwerp
Nice to have:
➕ Experience in industrial or critical infrastructure environments
➕ Familiarity with OT network protocols
➕ Experience in project-based infrastructure integrations
