About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to lead multiple data-driven projects. This is a high-impact, autonomous role where you will own end-to-end development of ML pipelines – from data acquisition to fine-tuned model deployment.
You will work with open-source tools, public web data, and large-scale datasets to build practical, production-ready ML solutions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a project-service environment and can independently drive technical direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead ML development across several concurrent projects, from scoping to deployment.
- Design and maintain web data crawling pipelines using open-source tools and public web sources.
- Fine-tune existing foundation models (LLMs, NLP, classification, etc.) – no model training from scratch required.
- Build and optimize ML workflows and microservices using Python, and optionally TypeScript / Node.js.
- Architect and deploy ML systems on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Develop and maintain scalable data storage using PostgreSQL.
- Ensure model performance, monitoring, and reliability in production environments.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience with hands-on ML/AI engineering.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and make high-level technical decisions.
- Strong experience with:
- Python (primary language)
- Data crawling / scraping with open-source tools
- Model fine-tuning (LLMs, NLP, or other ML models)
- GCP services
- PostgreSQL
