Job Description – Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Specialist
About the Role
For an organisation based in Kortrijk, we are looking for a Business Central Specialist with hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
This role is not suited for generic Dynamics consultants.
We are specifically looking for someone whose core experience lies in Business Central itself, combined with a strong understanding of industrial environments such as production and installation companies.
The position has been open for some time due to the scarcity of candidates who combine real Business Central expertise with practical business and systems insight.
Key Responsibilities
Configure, support and optimise Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
Work closely with business users in production, installation and operational teams
Translate operational processes into Business Central functionality
Support and coordinate system integrations with other tools and platforms
Identify bottlenecks and propose practical, workable improvements
Act as the functional bridge between business operations and IT
Be present onsite to ensure strong alignment with stakeholders
Required Skills & Experience
Proven, hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (mandatory)
Experience working with business systems and ERP environments
Background in industry, such as:
production / manufacturing
installation or technical service organisations
Strong functional understanding of business processes
Pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset
Fluent Dutch (mandatory)
Important clarification
Candidates with a background mainly in other Dynamics products (e.g. CRM, F&O) and limited Business Central experience are not a fit for this role.

3 days per week onsite, remaining days remote
