Job Title: Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant

Location: West Flanders, Belgium (2–3 days per week on-site)
Language Requirements: French or Dutch (fluent), English (professional working level)

About the Role

Our client, a leading company in the construction industry, is seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant to support their ongoing digital transformation and ERP optimization project. You will work closely with business stakeholders to enhance processes, improve system functionality, and ensure successful delivery of Business Central solutions.

This is a hybrid role, requiring 2–3 days per week on-site in West Flanders, with the remainder remote.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary functional lead for Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation and enhancement projects.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from various departments (finance, projects, procurement, operations).
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications and system configurations.
  • Configure, test, and support Business Central modules to align with business processes.
  • Conduct user training sessions and provide ongoing support and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with developers and technical teams to deliver customizations and integrations.
  • Support data migration, system testing, and go-live activities.
  • Advise on best practices within Business Central, particularly for the construction and project management sectors.

Skills & Experience Required

  • 3+ years’ experience as a Functional Consultant with Dynamics 365 Business Central (or NAV).
  • Proven track record of delivering successful BC implementations or upgrades.
  • Strong understanding of business processes in construction, project accounting, or job costing.
  • Experience with modules such as Finance, Projects, Procurement, and Inventory.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in French or Dutch, with good command of English.
  • Able to work independently and manage priorities in a hybrid working setup.
