We are looking for a hands-on and innovative Mechanical & Mechatronics Engineer to join our engineering team working on advanced systems for the offshore oil & gas sector. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in high-pressure environments and is passionate about designing and implementing reliable mechanical and electromechanical solutions for offshore applications.
You will be part of a multidisciplinary team developing mission-critical equipment-ranging from subsea tools to high-pressure systems-with a focus on durability, safety, and performance under extreme conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop robust mechanical and mechatronic systems for offshore and subsea environments
Create detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and BOMs using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor)
Integrate hydraulic, pneumatic, or electromechanical components into complete system designs
Conduct structural and thermal simulations (FEA/CFD) to validate and optimize designs
Collaborate with electrical, controls, and marine engineers to deliver integrated solutions
Ensure systems meet relevant offshore standards and certifications (DNV, ATEX, API, NORSOK)
Support assembly, factory testing (FAT), on-site installation, and offshore commissioning
Contribute to risk assessments, HAZOPs, and design reviews throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Offshore Engineering, or related field
Experience in mechanical or electromechanical system design, ideally in the oil & gas or offshore industry
Strong knowledge of CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus)
Familiarity with high-pressure systems, rotating machinery, or subsea tooling is a strong plus
Understanding of control systems integration (sensors, actuators, PLC interface)
Hands-on mindset with experience in testing, troubleshooting, or commissioning
Offshore certifications (e.g., BOSIET, HUET) are advantageous, but not required
Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional project teams
