Your Responsibilities
In design and development, you will translate customer needs into elaborate machines tailored to specific projects, perform complete 3D elaboration, and create 2D production drawings and layouts. You will contribute to the development of new machines and technical concepts within R&D, while optimizing existing machines in terms of operation, construction, and cost. Collaboration and coordination are key, as you will work closely with other engineering departments, act as a sounding board for technicians during assembly, follow up briefly with suppliers on technical solutions, and provide technical input to the sales team for quotations and customer inquiries. In follow-up and improvement, you will support production transfer to work preparation via export lists, contribute to standardization and product improvements, and provide technical optimizations.
Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking candidates with a Master’s degree in electromechanics or mechatronics and at least five years of experience in a similar mechanical engineering role. Technically, you should have extensive experience with 3D design in SolidWorks, with knowledge of 2D AutoCAD considered a plus, and a strong understanding of material properties, including tolerances and processing techniques. Fluency in both Dutch and English is required. We are looking for someone with a high level of thinking and a critical mindset, who is structured, hands-on, and proactive.
