About the Role
We are currently looking for a skilled Linux Developer / DevOps Engineer to join our client, a leading financial services organization based in Brussels.
In this role, you will be part of a dynamic and highly technical environment, contributing to the design, automation, and maintenance of critical infrastructure and applications within a secure and regulated enterprise setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux-based systems (RHEL environment)
- Develop and manage automation tools using Ansible and scripting (Python, Bash, etc.)
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Azure DevOps)
- Work with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Support cloud and hybrid environments (Azure, GCP, on-premise)
- Ensure system reliability, performance, and security (monitoring, logging, patching)
- Collaborate with development, security, and infrastructure teams in an Agile setup
- Contribute to continuous improvement of DevOps practices and platform standardization
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with Linux systems administration (RHEL 7/8/9)
- Proven experience in DevOps and automation (Ansible, CI/CD pipelines)
- Solid knowledge of scripting (Python, Bash, or similar)
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure and/or GCP)
- Understanding of monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, etc.)
- Experience in enterprise or regulated environments is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously
Nice to Have
- Experience with security tools (e.g., Splunk, Nessus)
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform)
- Experience with high-availability systems and clustering
- Certifications (e.g., Red Hat, Cloud certifications)
