Locum Licensing Lawyer – Local Authority (Scotland)
We are currently working with a Local Authority in Scotland who are seeking an experienced Locum Licensing Lawyer to join them on an initial 6 month contract.
This is an excellent opportunity to support a busy legal team during a key period, providing essential cover across a varied licensing caseload.
The Role:
You will be responsible for managing a broad range of licensing matters, including:
Handling licensing queries and complaints
Preparing reports and documentation for the Licensing Board
Providing legal support in relation to regulatory matters
Attending committees, including regulatory committees and Licensing Board meetings
Committee attendance will form a key part of the role, with meetings typically held every other Tuesday and on the last Friday of each month.
About You:
Qualified Solicitor with prior experience in licensing law
Previous local authority experience is highly desirable
