An international food company based in Zeeland, operating in a dynamic and regulated environment, currently implementing a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
Role Overview
The Label / Regulatory Affairs Specialist will provide temporary, part-time support during a PLM implementation project, with a strong focus on raw materials data, labeling accuracy, and compliance with EU food legislation.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) implementation with a focus on raw materials data
• Review, validate, and maintain raw material specifications
• Ensure labeling and regulatory compliance in line with EU food legislation
• Translate regulatory requirements into accurate product and ingredient information
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and consistency
Requirements
Qualifications / Skills & Experience
• Experience as a Label Specialist, Regulatory Affairs Specialist, or in a similar role within the food industry
• Strong knowledge of EU food legislation (ingredients, allergens, labeling, etc.)
• Experience working with raw material specifications and regulatory data
Essential
• Fluent in English
• Availability for 2 days per week
• Ability to work independently in a project-based environment
Desirable
• Dutch language skills
• Experience with PLM systems or implementation projects
