System Engineer – Amsterdam Region – Freelance 12 Months+

For a global automotive client in the region of Amsterdam, I am looking for a freelance System Engineer for a long term mission.

This is a hybrid role offering 4 days working from home per week.

Role:

• You will play a senior role in the client’s IT infrastructure and services for Netherlands, Belgium & Luxembourg.
• You will ensure that systems are performing smoothly, monitoring every part of the infrastructure, from the network to the application server.
• Provide 3^rd level support and assist other IT teams in resolving issues and root causes.
• Proactively manage and monitor the performance, integrity, availability, and accessibility of our systems and services.

Required:

• 3+ years of professional experience in a similar position.
• You have strong knowledge of system administration.
• You are experienced with at least one of the following:
  • virtualization (VMware),
  • backup (Veeambackup),
  • storage management (NetApp),
  • servers and blades management (CiscoUCS).
  • Windows, o365.
• Cloud technology (Azure) and Kubernetes get your attention.
• You are fluent in English & Dutch.
