About the Role
We are looking for a highly experienced IT Security Officer to support a large-scale security and compliance transformation program within a public organization.
This is a demanding, high-responsibility mandate in a complex environment requiring strong leadership, resilience, and execution capability.
You will play a central role in strengthening governance, compliance, and data protection frameworks, ensuring alignment with ISO 27001, NIS2, and GDPR requirements.
This is not a maintenance role — this is a stabilization and transformation role in a challenging context.
🎯 Your Mission
You will:
Lead and strengthen security governance and compliance frameworks
Ensure alignment with ISO 27001 guidelines
Drive NIS2 implementation and regulatory compliance
Oversee GDPR and data protection governance
Manage risk assessments and mitigation strategies
Support internal and external audits
Act as the key point of contact for security within the organization
Prioritize and manage multiple parallel security initiatives
Communicate clearly with both technical teams and executive stakeholders
You will be entering a complex starting project environment that requires structure, decisiveness, and strong ownership.
🛠️ Required Experience
Minimum 7+ years in IT Security and Data Protection
Strong background in Security Governance and Compliance
Deep knowledge of ISO 27001 guidelines
Proven experience with NIS2 and GDPR implementation
Experience in complex or public-sector environments is a plus
Ability to manage high-pressure transformation contexts
🎓 Mandatory Qualifications
Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)
CISM or CISSP certification (mandatory)
⭐ Preferred
ISO 27001 Lead Implementer / Lead Auditor certification
Experience in large, structured organizations
