As a Senior Planning Officer, you will manage a varied caseload of complex minor and major applications, provide expert planning advice, and contribute to shaping the future development of the area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and determine a range of complex planning applications, including major developments
- Provide robust pre-application advice to developers and stakeholders
- Represent the LPA at committee meetings, appeals, and public inquiries
- Contribute to policy development and planning strategy where appropriate
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely progression of applications
