The Regeneration Programme Manager is responsible for helping develop and manage the forward pipeline of projects, preparing business cases to secure external funding and challenging/ reporting progress on current projects. The post holder will be the focal point of the programme, orchestrating the work of project managers and partners to ensure results. Providing elected Members, senior managers, Government Departments, and external funders with accurate and timely information will be a key part of the job.
The Role:
- Liaising and negotiating with Government departments, district authorities and other partners in developing the pipeline and subsequent funding agreements.
- Having knowledge of various funding streams including UKSPF and Levelling Up Funding
- Managing and coaching staff responsible for business case development, programme monitoring, evaluation, and coordination.
- Identifying and setting output and outcome targets achieved for individual projects within the programme.
- Managing complex budgets, spend and procurement limits for commissioned work and maintaining the register of approvals required to support delivery
