NTERIM FINANCE BUSINESS PARTNER

Our client, a major national organisation with a significant retail and hospitality footprint, is currently diversifying its commercial operations. We need a commercially-minded Interim Finance Business Partner to act as the engine for site expansion and service evolution.
This isn’t a reporting role; it’s a value-creation role. You will be the bridge between the numbers and the operation, providing the insights needed to capitalise on growth opportunities while mitigating commercial risk.
The Mission:
– Commercial Insights: Deliver high-velocity analysis to identify income growth levers and cost-saving opportunities across a diverse retail estate (think coffee/convenience retail).
– Expansion & Diversification: Lead on the financial side of new site setups, modelling viability and providing the framework to explore and capitalise on new revenue streams.
– Risk & Mitigation: Identify and communicate risks clearly to stakeholders, providing actionable strategies to mitigate them and protect financial integrity.
– Adding Value: Partner directly with the business to reduce costs and optimise risk, ensuring every pound of revenue is maximised to support the organisation’s mission.
The Profile:
Retail/Hospitality Expertise: Proven experience in high-volume retail environments (e.g., coffee shops, convenience retail, or WH Smith-style units).
Business Partnering: A track record of influencing non-finance stakeholders to drive commercial change, diversify the business, and explore new opportunities.
Site Setup: Prior experience in financial modelling for new site openings or the scaling of service lines.
Rate: Negotiable (Daily Rate) Duration: 6 Months (Initial) Location: 100% Remote.
