Our client, a respected Housing Provider based in South Scotland, is seeking an Interim Compliance Manager to lead and oversee key compliance functions during a critical transitional period.
This is a pivotal role, offering the opportunity to make an immediate impact in ensuring health, safety, and regulatory compliance across a diverse property portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee statutory compliance in areas such as gas, electrical, fire safety, water hygiene, asbestos, and lifts
Ensure adherence to relevant housing regulations and sector standards
Manage risk registers and compliance reporting to the executive team and Board
Lead audits and implement robust action plans
Liaise with contractors and internal teams to monitor service delivery and remedial works
Contribute to policy development and continuous improvement initiatives
About You:
Proven experience in a compliance or asset management role within social housing or a similar regulated sector
Strong working knowledge of UK housing compliance legislation and health & safety regulations
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Able to hit the ground running and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Relevant qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH, H&S, Compliance, Asset Management) are highly desirable
